THE ESSENCE AND PSYCHOLOGICAL MECHANISMS OF MORAL EDUCATION OF PRIMARY GRADE STUDENTS IN A MODERN SOCIO-CULTURAL ENVIRONMENT

The article examines the theoretical foundations and psychological mechanisms of moral education of primary school students in the modern sociocultural environment. The role of moral education in personality development, the relationship between motivational, emotional, and volitional spheres, as well as the pedagogical conditions for the formation of moral qualities are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to imitation, self-regulation, reflection, moral experience, and value-oriented educational activities as the main psychological mechanisms of moral development.
