Contents
Extend-vscode-codeql.zip contains a VS code plugin implementation. It contains its own readme to launch and use plugin. But it is currently not runnable because we remove GitHub identity when anonymising the initialisation step.
Code_database_backend.zip contains the implementation of helper functions for the VS code plugin, the query used, with its own README file that contains a tutorial to manually replicate experiments in the paper.
How is everything connected:
Build the extend-vscode-codeql as a VSCode plugin in VS code plugin developer host. (explained in README in the extend-vscode-codeql
To interact with actions described in the paper, VS Code plugin clones the Code database backend repo and builds it. The stand-alone usage of the Backend is in the README of code_database_backend
