NRS-8285 | Dedication registers [Miscellaneous Branch, Department of Lands]

These registers cover dedications of land for a wide variety of public purposes eg. schools, libraries, recreation reserves, hospital sites, commons, showgrounds, botanic gardens, cemeteries, town halls, sale yards, race courses, police paddocks, fire brigade station sites, etc. They comprise "Dedication books" and "Dedication registers". These dedication books provide number of relevant papers, catalogue number of plan, place, county, portion, allotment, section, area, purpose of dedication, date of notification, date of grant and remarks, including details of trustees. The dedication registers provide the same details, but also include date of gazette notification, and date of gazette notification of Trustees. (11/22028-34). 7 vols.
