Whole Genome sequencing and assembly of Mycobacterium sp. PH-06. Mycobacterium dioxanotrophicus strain:PH-06

The complete genome sequence of Mycobacterium sp. PH-06, previously isolated from river sediment and capable of using 1,4-dioxane as a sole source of carbon and energy, is reported. The reported sequence data is expected to be useful for elucidation of novel metabolic pathways involved in 1,4-dioxane biodegradation as well as the development of specific molecular biomarkers to assess biodegradation potential at contaminated sites.
