2.5-D Local Hybrid Simulations of Hot Flow Anomaly Formations with Tangential Discontinuity-Directed Electric Fields on Both Sides

This dataset contains the results of local hybrid simulation runs of a hot flow anomaly formed by the interaction of a tangential discontinuity with a planar shock. The cone angle change on either side of the tangential discontinuity is -15° and 15°. The dataset includes ion densities, ion temperatures, magnetic field components, ion bulk flow components, electric field components, and current density components.
