The transcriptome sequence of the Cuban Anolis lizard was determined by RNA-seq. Then, we performed phylogenetic analysis to detect genes under positive selection in the common ancestral branch of A. allisoni and A. porcatus, and the A. sagrei branch. These species naturally dwell in hot-open areas and thrive in urban areas.
