Association of metabolic pathways and antibiotic resistance gene dynamics with SARS-CoV-2 vaccine efficacy in PLWH

The study highlights a link between microbiome dysbiosis and the immune response to SARS-CoV-2 vaccination, suggesting an interplay between the gut microbiome and immune status in people living with HIV. We investigated how vaccine immunogenicity correlates with the differential abundance of microbiota-driven metabolic pathways and alterations in resistome patterns in both PLWH and healthy controls.
