The aim of the study was to evaluate the consequences of the EMF treatment on transcriptomic profile, the level of genomic DNA methylation, and the level of amplification of methylated and unmethylated variants of promoter regions of selected genes with altered expression in conceptuses during the peri-implantation period. Porcine conceptuses were collected on days 15-16 of pregnancy, preincubated for 6 h, and then incubated for 2 h in the presence of EMF at a frequency of 50 Hz in vitro. Control conceptuses were not exposed to the EMF. The transcriptome profiling was done using next-generation sequencing (NGS) and bioinformatic analysis followed by Real-Time PCR validation.
