This dataset was developed in collaboration between the University of Liège and the University of Guanajuato, which conducted 18 observations of the ζ Puppis star using the XMM-Newton satellite, with a total exposure time of 1 Ms. The dataset contains high-resolution X-ray spectra for studying the X-ray emission properties of this star and its temporal variability. ζ Puppis is a bright massive star located just 335 light-years from Earth, with stable X-ray emission but its spectral line profiles varying with wavelength. This dataset facilitates in-depth understanding of the X-ray emission mechanisms of massive stars and their interactions with stellar winds, providing critical data support for resolving key issues in stellar physics.
