Supporting data for Eggemeier et al. (2025), "Boosting galaxy clustering analyses with non-perturbative modelling of redshift-space distortions"
收藏资源简介:
This directory contains measurements of the power spectrum (PK) and bispectrum (BK) from the Minerva simulation suite, used in the analysis presented in "Boosting galaxy clustering analyses with non-perturbative modelling of redshift-space distortions" (Eggemeier et al., arXiv:2501.18597). The averages of the measurements over the 300 realisations of the simulation suite are stored in the following four ASCII files: Minerva_PK_z0.3_LOWZ.dat Minerva_BK_z0.3_LOWZ.dat Minerva_PK_z0.57_CMASS.dat Minerva_BK_z0.57_CMASS.dat for two different galaxy samples (LOWZ and CMASS). The power spectrum files contain the following columns: k (bin centre) [h/Mpc] k_eff (effective wave mode) [h/Mpc] P_0 (power spectrum monopole) [(Mpc/h)^3] P_2 (power spectrum quadrupole) [(Mpc/h)^3] P_4 (power spectrum hexadecapole) [(Mpc/h)^3] Poisson shot noise has been subtracted from these measurements. The binwidth corresponds to the fundamental frequency of the Fourier grid, which is kf = 2*pi/1500 h/Mpc, and the maximum wave mode is ~ 0.5 h/Mpc. The bispectrum files contain the columns: k1 (bin centre) [h/Mpc] k2 (bin centre) [h/Mpc] k3 (bin centre) [h/Mpc] k1_eff (effective k1 wave mode) [h/Mpc] k2_eff (effective k2 wave mode) [h/Mpc] k3_eff (effective k3 wave mode) [h/Mpc] B_0 (bispectrum monopole) [(Mpc/h)^6] B_2 (bispectrum quadrupole) [(Mpc/h)^6] Poisson shot noise has also been subtracted from these measurements. The bispectrum measurements use a bin width of 2*kf and contain all triangle configurations that satisfy k1 >= k2 >= k3 and k1 <= k2 + k3 with kmax ~ 0.2 h/Mpc (open triangle configurations, i.e., where the bin centres do not form a closed triangle, are not included). In addition, this directory also contains covariance matrices that have been used in the analysis. These covariances do not correspond to the actually measured covariances from the ensemble of simulations, but are analytic Gaussian predictions scaled to a particular volume (see paper for details). They are contained in the following four ASCII files: Minerva_PK_z0.3_LOWZ_cov.dat Minerva_BK_z0.3_LOWZ_cov.dat Minerva_PK_z0.57_CMASS_cov.dat Minerva_BK_z0.57_CMASS_cov.dat The power spectrum files are stored as a 2d matrix of 384 x 384 elements, corresponding to the concatenation of the 128 monopole, quadrupole, and hexadecapole bins each. The unit of the matrix elements are [(Mpc/h)^6]. The bispectrum files contain three columns corresponding to: C_00 (diagonal of the auto bispectrum monopole covariance) [(Mpc/h)^6] C_22 (diagonal of the auto bispectrum quadrupole covariance) [(Mpc/h)^6] C_02 (diagonal of the cross bispectrum monopole-quadrupole covariance) [(Mpc/h)^6] The ordering of the bins (triangle configurations) matches that of the bispectrum measurement files.
