This Atmospheric River (AR) database includes AR occurrence data (0 or 1) for 1958-2013 at each grid over East Asia. AR detection was based on the Vertically Integrated Water Vapor Transport (IVT) obtained from JRA-55 (Kobayashi et al. 2015 JMSJ, doi: 10.2151/jmsj.2015-001) at 1.25x1.25 horizontal resolution and at 6-hourly temporal resolution.
