This dataset contains complete plasmid sequences of engineered pACYC184 derivatives carrying the antibiotic resistance genes sul1, sul2, sul3, dfrA1, dfrA5, and dfrA12. Plasmids were constructed using NEB HiFi DNA assembly and sequence verified by Sanger sequencing (Macrogen) using a multi-primer strategy to ensure full coverage of each construct. Sequencing reads were assembled into full-length consensus sequences representing the complete plasmids. The file is provided in multi-FASTA format. These plasmids are part of a study investigating conditionally essential genes for growth in the presence of sulfonamide and trimethoprim in sulfonamide- and trimethoprim-resistant Escherichia coli.
