WGS of clinical Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates carrying hybrid AMR-virulent plasmids

This study is aimed to describing the detailed genomic characteristics of four MDR K. pneumonia isolates based on hybrid whole-genome assembl, and phylogenetic comparison. The goals are to investigate the plasmid composition of the samples studied and determine localization of AMR and virulence determinants. We also revealed the convergence of hvKP and MDR-cKp traits in one of the isolates, which is probably resulted in emergence of the strain that would pose a serious threat to the healthcare system.
