The ISI or Infrabel Safety Indicators evaluate the evolution of railway safety and set internal targets.The indicators include relevant accidents. This means any accident involving at least one moving railway vehicle resulting in at least one death or one serious injury, or causing relevant damage to rolling stock, to the tracks, to other installations or the environment or causing significant traffic disruptions. This does not include accidents in workshops, warehouses and storage areas.
