SPATIALLY RESOLVED SPECTROSCOPY OF MERGING CLUSTERS IN THE SHAPLEY CONCENTRATION

We propose to map the distribution and variation in density and temperature ofthe intracluster medium in and between the members of the A3528 complex:A3528north, A3528south, A3530, A3532. This allows us to study how ongoingmergers affect the dynamical parameters of these clusters and the physicalcharacteristics of the galaxy population.
