资源简介:
AP2-G is a transcription factor (TF) that is essential for gametocytogenesis of malaria parasites; however, the mechanisms for its inducing the cell linage for sexual reproduction remain unclear. In this paper, this problem is addressed by investigating its expression profile and by determining target genes genome-wide in Plasmodium berghei. Overall design: Mice were infected with P. berghei expressing GFP-fused AP2-G. Sulfadiazine was added to their drinking water in order to deplete asexual blood-stage parasites. Chromatins associated with GFP-tagged AP2-G was IPed with anti-GFP antibody, and target genes of this transcription factor were predicted.
