NRS-12619 | Aerial photograph of Macquarie Street area

This aerial photograph, prepared by No.3 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force, appears to be one of several forwarded to the Macquarie Street Re-planning Committee and referred to in the Committee's minutes of 31 July 1935 as "aerial photographs (received) from Wing Commander Bostock of the Richmond Aerodrome" (ref: NRS 12618, [5/7699, p.9]). Superimposed on the original photograph are lines denoting sections, similar to those contained in the plan accompanying the Interim Report of the Macquarie Street Re-planning Committee (Sydney, 1935), which is included with the Committee's minutes.The photograph, which measures 30 x 38cm, is mounted on cardboard.(SR Map No. 780). 1 photograph.
