The soil dataset includes multi-layer soil resistivity values for geographic locations near Grid and Primary substations. This data can be used in substation earthing system design.

Methodological Approach
Soil data is uploaded from UK Power Networks' data warehouse.
Site Functional Locations (FLOCs) are used to associate soil data to Key characteristics of active Grid and Primary sites — UK Power Networks

Manual review and correction of data inconsistencies.
