The CO2 emissions and climate effects of biomass fuel burning since 1750

This repository contains the main Python code and processed input data used in the study “The CO2 emissions and climate effects of biomass fuel burning since 1750.” The analyses use the reduced-complexity Earth system model OSCAR v3.3 to quantify the historical and future carbon-cycle and climate effects of biomass fuel use. The repository contains three main workflows: historical CO2 attribution, historical climate attribution, and future pathway simulations.
