Phylogenomics and the origin and diversification of Kingdom Fungi

Occurs in nature as a facultative parasite of nematodes, the eggs of liver flukes, and other small organisms. We are proposing it as a second member of the Blastocladiomycota to advance the development of gene models in Allomyces, improve annotations of the early diverging lineages, and definitively place the Blastocladiomycota in the FTOL.
