The AGB_validation_ICESat2_plot_data and AGB_validation_IFN2_plot_data files contain field data collected respectively from ICESat-2 footprints and plots of the second National Forest Inventory (IFN2) of Togo. This data consists of dendrometric measurements (tree height) from which relative heights (RH) at various percentages were derived. These RH values were then used with the biomass equations from Kellner et al,. (2023) and Chave et al. (2014) to calculate biomass values at these footprints and plots level. These biomass values were then used to validate spatially continuous biomass estimates from biomass models developed as part of the paper "Spatially continuous aboveground biomass estimation of forest-savannah mosaics in West Africa by combining GEDI LiDAR data and multi-sensor satellite observations".
