Citizen reports of urban issues: record-level open dataset (February–September 2026)

One row per citizen report of a physical problem in public space (a pothole, a broken sidewalk, a faulty street light, uncollected waste…) submitted to the Şehrinin Tadı (CitiHero) platform: 1,362 reports, 14 February – 24 September 2026. Each row gives the report's date, country, province, district, category, status, solution date, and support and comment counts, plus a link to the report's public page so that every row can be verified. CONTENTS 1,341 records from Türkiye; 21 from Germany, the United States, Somalia or undetermined locations. The dataset is global by design (no country filter). 13 columns; full data dictionary in README.md. Filtering to Türkiye and counting by category reproduces the category dataset (DOI 10.5281/zenodo.22241364); counting by province and category reproduces the province dataset (DOI 10.5281/zenodo.22956247). PRIVACY No personal data: no user identifiers (not even hashed), no titles or descriptions, no photos, no coordinates, no neighbourhood and no time of day. 17.3% of records lie in districts where all reports come from one person; a user key would turn them into that person's activity timeline, so none is published. LIMITATIONS Report counts reflect where and when platform users are active, not how common problems are. "Solved" is the report owner's own statement, not verified by municipalities. 68 of the 98 solved records have no solution date (the app did not record it before 25 September 2026). Location is the device's position at submission. No de-duplication. Updated monthly.
