The aim of this current study is to identify the global changes of circRNAs expression in OSA-induced liver damage. The APOE mice were randomly divided into a control group and a CIH group. Briefly, the mice designated for the CIH group were situated in a custom chamber fitted with 3 oxygen sensors to assess the O2 levels. A gas control delivery system connected to the chamber managed the injection of pure nitrogen which reduced the O2 concentration to 6% for 60 seconds. Afterward the system facilitated rapid replacement of O2 leading to quick reoxygenation and after another 60 seconds, the O2 concentration rose to 21%.The CIH cycle lasting 2 minutes was repeated 30 times hourly accumulating to 8 hours of each day totaling 8 weeks. After 8 weeks of CIH exposure, liver tissues were collected following cervical dislocation euthanasia performed by a trained professional under isoflurane anesthesia.
