Data underlying the publication: Bosonic statistics enhance Maxwell's demon in photonic experiment

This dataset contains the curated data and code required to reproduce the results of the paper <em>Experimental Photonic Maxwell’s Demon</em>. It includes (i) raw experimental photon-counting data (.mat) from the final runs used in the manuscript (run_20240809_3_4_3to4 and run_20240804_4mode), (ii) pre-processed datasets (combined batches, corrected distributions, and weight factors), (iii) MATLAB analysis scripts and helper functions used to generate the reported observables (probability distributions, photon-number difference, photonic flux, and entropy), (iv) experiment-control assets for provenance (interferometer matrices, voltage-generation script, and measurement scripts), (v) analytical Weingarten-calculus code with precomputed outputs, and (vi) final figure assets (.pdf and .svg) plus the paper and supplementary TeX sources.The repository is curated strictly for reproducibility: files used only for exploratory development or internal notes are excluded, while original data contents and filenames are preserved. No personal or sensitive data are included. Licensing is dual: code under MIT and data/content under CC BY 4.0.
