2023 Soil Fauna Species Inventory Dataset of Wetlands in the Chahan Nao'er Basin, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

Soil animals are key participants in the material cycle and energy flow of ecosystems, and play an important role in maintaining soil health and biodiversity. This article is based on the field survey data of soil animals in Chahannaor National Wetland Park and Minle Nao in the Chahannaor Basin Wetland of Ulanqab City in 2023. The soil animal species in the basin were systematically organized to form a protected list dataset. The dataset formed covers 10 orders and 75 families of soil animals, with a total of 2018 soil animal individuals identified, including watershed names, family Chinese names, Koladin names, order Chinese names, order Latin names, class Chinese names, class Latin names, phylum Chinese names, phylum Latin names, and other information. The data from this survey has been collected through standardized field sampling, laboratory identification, and cross checking processes, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the data. The results of this survey will provide solid basic data support for biodiversity conservation, ecosystem function assessment, and restoration of degraded ecosystems in the region.
