These data are used in the article "Automatic selection of the number of clusters using Bayesian clustering and sparsity-inducing priors", published in Ecological Applications.
These data contain the following columns:id: this corresponds to the identification code of each animalregion: this corresponds to the study region (N=north, S=south)date: this variable contains the date and time of the GPS fixSL1: contains the discretized speeds TA1: contains the discretized turning anglesSex: contains the sex of the animal (F=female, M=Male)
The discretized speeds are:1=0.0 to 0.1 m/s2=0.1 to 0.2 m/s3=0.2 to 0.3 m/s4=0.3 to 0.4 m/s5=0.4 to 0.5 m/s6=0.5 to 0.6 m/s7= >0.6 m/s
