This dataset of water temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen profiles was taken by CTD during the Pacific Oceanographic Cruise L / XIV Joint Regional Oceanographic Research Cruise in the Northeast Pacific conducted between October 20th and November 07th, 2011, by the Pacific Oceanographic and Hydrographic Research Center (CCCP) of the General Maritime Directorate (DIMAR), aboard the research vessel ARC Providencia, covering 43 stations located throughout the Colombian Pacific basin, to evaluate the oceanographic and meteorological conditions of this area, with the purpose of knowing their behavior and anticipate their evolution associated with the El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO).
