Panama 2013: TRaC study measuring sexual behaviors among Female Sex Workers in Ciudad Panama, Veraguas & Darien. Round 3.

GOAL OF THE TRaC STUDY Evidence from this study will be used to evaluate and improve current communication campaigns and their effect on the target population of Female Sex Workers (FSW) in Central America. It will also help design new activities directed to this population by validating the key factors that have been usually associated with healthy key behaviors. RESEARCH OBJECTIVES a. Measure change and monitor progress on the objectives of USAIDs Combination Prevention for PASMO and PEPFARs Gender Enhanced complementing approach. b. Determine the preliminary impact of PASMOs interventions among FSW c. Validate factors that have been usually associated with the desired behavior: consistent condom use. d. Set a baseline for the Opportunity, Ability and Motivation (OAM) factors in which the program will work for the next two years
