Meter-scale geophysical dataset from the Haima cold seeps (HM-1 and HM-3), northern South China Sea

This dataset compiles meter-scale geophysical data from the HM-1 and HM-3 stations of the Haima cold seeps on the northern slope of the South China Sea. The data were acquired during the TS-24-4 cruises of R/V TansuoYihao.The raw dataset includes multibeam, side-scan sonar and sub-bottom profiles. Integrated at a common observational scale, these data reveal strongly contrasting shallow fluid conduits, seep-related geomorphology, and chemosynthetic life zonation at two cold seep sites separated by ~5 km.
