Lysobacter enzymogenes is a ubiquitous environmental Gram-negative bacterium, which has important applications as a biocontrol agent against several crop fungal diseases. Lysobacter enzymogenes OH11 produces a broad-spectrum antifungal antibiotic named HSAF which shows potent activity against plant fungal pathogens. To better investigate the biosynthesis and regulation of HSAF, we sequenced the genome of OH11. The aim is to improve the yield of HSAF and apply it in the plant protection.
