Supplementary Materials for "Beyond Dark Patterns: A Scoping Review of Persuasive Design Strategies in Contemporary Video Games"

This repository contains the supplementary materials supporting the scoping review Beyond Dark Patterns: A Scoping Review of Persuasive Design Strategies in Contemporary Video Games. It includes the database used for data extraction and analysis, comprising the 31 studies included in the review, the identified dark patterns, their operational definitions, the coding process, and their classification into four persuasive design strategies (social, temporal, psychological, and monetary). These materials are provided to enhance transparency, reproducibility, and the reuse of the analytical framework developed in the study.
