Replication data for: "Genomic epidemiology and phylogeographic reconstruction of West Nile virus 2 in Italy from 2011 to 2023"

This dataset includes an animated map representing the continuous phylogeographic dispersal of West Nile Virus Lineage 2 (WNV-2) across Northern Italy during the 2022–2023 transmission seasons. The animation was generated using BEAST and visualized in SpreaD3, showing estimated viral diffusion over space and time based on genome sequence data. The visualization highlights the east-to-west spread pattern and supports insights into the spatiotemporal dynamics of WNV-2 circulation in the affected regions.
