The sludge was fed with artificial wastewater containing Mn(II) to enhance the process of microbial manganese oxidation. This project includes metagenomic sequencing data obtained from DNA samples extracted at three time points: the inoculum (day 0), and the sludge after 37 and 67 days of operation.
