The main objective of the project is to obtain organelle level 2D/3D quantitative information on a targeted glycosylation pathway using new strategy based on bioorthogonal metal-based chemical reporter using metabolic oligosaccharide engineering, demonstrating the importance of combined X-ray fluorescence and X-ray phase contrast imaging to help deciphering the molecular details of oligosaccharides synthesis and biological behavior.
