Raw FCS data from U-87MG ATCC cells treated with temozolomide, azithromycin, and/or doxycycline

The dataset contains FCS files for cell cycle and cell death analyses of U-87MG (HTB-14; RRID: CVCL_0022) cells after 48 h of treatment with temozolomide (151.0 µg/ml), azithromycin (92.0 µg/ml), and/or doxycycline (147.0 µg/ml) at their respective IC50 values. Cell cycle analysis was performed using propidium iodide (PI) staining with the BD Cycletest Plus DNA reagent kit (BD Biosciences, San Jose, CA, USA). Cell death was assessed using the Dead Cell Apoptosis Kit with Annexin V-fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) and PI (Thermo Fisher Scientific, USA). Data were acquired on a BD FACSCanto II flow cytometer (BD Biosciences, San Jose, CA, USA), with 20,000 events for the cell cycle assay and 10,000 events for the cell death assay. Note that phase-contrast microscopy observations of cells were also included for the cell cycle assay.
