资源简介:
These data were collected at Shaviovik Spring (69.8166°N, 147.7580°W) in Arctic Alaska during late April, 2022. A pool containing overwintering fish had apparently pressurized, rupturing the overlying ice and carrying fish onto the ice surface. A complete description of the event is available in Glass et al. (In review). The datasets include lengths and locations of fish carried onto the ice surface and measurements of ice thickness and water depth of the pool. Glass TW, L Bishop, KM Fraley. In review. Oasis or trap? Mass mortality of overwintering fishes at an Arctic perennial spring and subsequent scavenging activity.
