Genotyping by Sequencing and SNP identification in intervarietal mapping population of guava

Guava (Psidium guajava) is a tropical and subtropical perennial tree species. Guava belongs to the family Myrtaceae. Guava plant parts including fruits are nutritionally superior with vitamin C, phenols, dietary fibres and flavonoids. This fruit crop is also well known for its antioxidant content and pharmacological properties. The Psidium guajava has a chromosome number of 2n=22 and the genome size is around ̴450 MB.
