Grass silage bacterial community

Silages produced under different management conditions, such as use of silage additives (control, formic acid, lactic acid inoculant and salt-based additive), compaction (loosely and tight) and soil inoculation (non-inoculated and soil inoculated) were manufactured in laboratory scale. These effects were estimated on fermentation quality parameters, microbial quality, aerobic stability and bacterial communities. Silages were opened and samples were taken after 3 months of ensiling period.
