Identification and Functional Characterization of Olfaction-related Genes for the Crab Spider Ebrechtella tricuspidata (Araneae, Thomisidae)

This study generates a comprehensive transcriptome for the crab spider Ebrechtella tricuspidata using both long-read and short-read sequencing technologies.PacBio Iso-Seq was used on a pooled sample (mixed sexes, stages, and tissues) to create a high-quality, full-length reference transcriptome. Illumina sequencing was performed on 53 individual samples to enable quantitative analysis of gene expression.This combined dataset provides a foundational resource for functional genomics, aiming to identify olfaction-related and other key genes in this species.
