Photograph of Childs Glacier, Alaska, 1935. In the extreme foreground at left, trees and plants are visible. A large, flat plateau is visible at center extending to a large glacier cliff face in the background. The large glacier appears mostly rectangular. Its flat surface can be seen extending from the far left to the far right. In the extreme background, snow-capped mountain ranges are visible also extending from the left to the right. Caption at the top of the image reads: "(below) Childs Glacier, another of Alaska's famous glaciers".
