Hessian jute goods consumption India FY 2009-2023

About 89 thousand metric tons of hessian jute goods were consumed across India in financial year 2023, which was a decrease from the previous year. The use of polypropylene bags instead of environmental friendly jute bags to save costs led to an overall decline in the consumption over the last decade.
