A search for most subjects on IEEE XPLORER returns well over 1,000 results. For even the most determined academic this is more papers than any individual could read and retain effectively. Reading a small number of papers can be sufficient to gain some general understanding, but this can obviously lead to blind spots based on specifics in search terms and how attention grabbing the paper title is. To this end this dataset is intended to allow for drawing broad general conclusions based on a large number of papers without requiring excessive manhours to observe general technological trends. While the AGI future of fully automated research will hopefully never actually arrive this approach can allow for generic trends can be observed across very broad research topics. This dataset contains over 3000 json files contain a standardized description of the important conclusions from different optical transceiver papers. Accuracy is not guaranteed.
