Fever after use of sublingual misoprostol for treatment of postpartum hemorrhage: A prospective, observational study conducted in two hospitals in Argentina

This database contains data collected from a prospective observational study carried out in two hospitals in Corrientes, Argentina to evaluate the side effect profile and the occurrence of high fever (≥40.0°C) following PPH treatment with sublingual misoprostol (800mcg) after vaginal birth. Consenting women with atonic PPH were eligible to receive first-line PPH treatment with misoprostol. Corporal temperature was assessed at 30-, 60-, 90-, and 120-minutes post-treatment; other side effects were recorded.
