From Sharity Elephant to Singa Lion, Two is Enough to Clean & Green, campaigns and their mascots have become a unique part of Singapore’s national heritage. Over four decades, these campaign movements have not only shaped Singapore's surroundings but also the thoughts and behaviour of the people. Promoting this fascinating social identity to a younger generation of Singaporeans, from 9th January 2013 to 31 August 2013, the National Library of Singapore, in partnership with independent art curator Alan Oei of Salon Projects, presented an exhibition titled Campaign City: Life In Posters.
