Plot level data for 66 0.1-ha plots in tropical dry forests in Guanacaste Costa Rica includes: forest stand age, community weighted mean wood density, aboveground biomass, basal area, stem density for trees >10 cm DBH, stem density for trees <10 cm DBH but 1.3m or higher, Shannon Diversity Index, soil chemical variables, and Principal Component Axes for soil chemical variables.
