Projected oil refining capacity in Angola, by refinery 2025

Angola expects to increase the oil refining capacity to 425 thousand barrels per day in 2025. Currently, the country has only the Luanda Refinery in operation, which refining capacity meets around 20 percent of the domestic fuel consumption. By 2025, new four refineries, presently in process of tender or construction, are projected to be active. The Lobito Refinery is expected to be the boldest project, with the capacity to refine 200 thousand barrels of oil per day.
