Core content This dataset provides insights into the current frequency of visitors on the grounds of the Landesgartenschau Neuss 2026. The detection is carried out via modern Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sensors, which are discreetly integrated into the infrastructure of the Laga site. This enables us to precisely analyse the density and flow of visitors in real time.Purpose of the data The figures collected are an essential tool for successful and sustainable event management: Avoid overcrowding at main entrances and attractions for a relaxed experience.Event planning: Optimization of the guidance system and demand-oriented placement of catering and service offers.Ecological control: Targeted flow management for the protection of sensitive vegetation areas and for the planning of resting areas.Safety: Support of the emergency services with real-time information on the utilization of individual areas. 🛡️ Data protection & anonymization Your privacy is a top priority. The counting is purely technical and passive:Anonymization: BLE signals from mobile devices are hashed and completely anonymised immediately at the moment of collection.No storage: No personal data or device IDs (MAC addresses) are stored.No profiles: Traceability to individuals or the creation of individual movement profiles is technically excluded. Conformity: The system works 100% according to the strict guidelines of the GDPR.
