Transcriptional profiling of aged and young mouse hearts

We identified Dnmt3a and Esrrg as the putative regulators of CM aging. Here, we overexpressed Esrrg, Dnmt3a and control GFP proteins in adult hearts and performed bulk RNA-seq to discover molecular pathways associated with these proteins. Overall design: We isolated total RNA from adult ventricles 3-months after AAV injection. Libraries were prepared and sequenced from individual RNA samples.
