Global fluxes were inverted using JAMSTEC’s Atmospheric Chemistry-Transport Model (ACTM) with identical a priori fluxes in two simulations based on OH_CLM and OH_IAV fields, conducted as part of the Global Methane Budget initiative led by the Global Carbon Project (Saunois et al., Global Methane Budget 2000-2020, ESSD, 2024).
