资源简介:
Benzene and chlorobenzene have been of concern as one of the most common types of co-contaminants. The aim of this field study was to investigate the remediation of benzene and chlorobenzene by in situ reaction zone formed by calcium peroxide, the effect of pH on the calcium peroxide system and the composition of the microbial community. Benzene and chlorobenzene were successfully remediated after 150 days, enrichment of benzene and chlorobenzene degrading bacteria was observed in the site and also demonstrated that the buffer solution had a positive effect on the calcium peroxide system. Chao index demonstrated that the adverse impact on the microbial communities due to the use of CaO2 can be mitigated naturally within a reasonable timeframe.
